I spent 5 years at Tradable Bits, working my way up to Director of Software Development.

I built some cool things along the way:

  • Several engaging activities for sports and music fans, including a live bingo game scalable to thousands of players, a memory match game with robust anti-cheat measures, and a customizable meme generator (Websockets, Flask)
  • A Zoom-like video conferencing app with text chat connecting fans directly with athletes and musicians (WebRTC, Websockets)
  • A light show for music festivals synchronized across guests' phones which worked completely offline (ask me about it!)
  • A high performance PostgreSQL logical replication listener processing write-ahead logs in real time to detect changes to records as they happen (Rust)
  • A secure subscription service for music fans to get discounts to festivals and shows (Vue)
